Music has been central to Heartstopper since Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring first met. The Netflix adaptation has regularly used indie pop, queer anthems and intimate electronic scoring to express feelings its characters cannot always explain aloud.
The Heartstopper Forever soundtrack continues that approach in the feature-length finale. The movie includes music from Baby Queen, Billie Eilish, Wasia Project, Maggie Rogers, Sufjan Stevens, Sylvester and many other artists, alongside a new original score by Adiescar Chase.
Heartstopper Forever has been available on Netflix since July 17, 2026. Here is the most carefully verified current guide to the songs connected to Nick and Charlie’s final screen chapter.
Heartstopper Forever soundtrack: confirmed song list
Netflix has not published a complete scene-by-scene licensed-music cue sheet. Published soundtrack guides also differ slightly, with some leaving out tracks included by other outlets.
The consolidated list below covers the songs currently reported as part of the movie. It is not presented as an official playing order.
- “Kool Aid” — Royel Otis
- “Raw Thoughts” — Baby Queen
- “Who Am I?” — Orla Gartland
- “(What’s in a) Name?” — Micko & The Mellotronics
- “8TEEN” — Khalid
- “Whale Call” — Wasia Project

- “Boyhood” — The Japanese House
- “Lost in Space” — Aimee Mann
- “Dark Side of the Gym” — The National
- “Ketamine” — siouxxie sixxsta
- “KRUSH BANDICOOT” — RAIZHELL

The selection combines newer alternative-pop performers with artists already associated with the series. Baby Queen and Wasia Project return to the musical world of Heartstopper, while Orla Gartland, Maggie Rogers and Sufjan Stevens also strengthen the connection to earlier seasons.
Which songs does Queer Intentions perform?
The fictional band Queer Intentions performs two songs in the movie. The recordings feature Leila Khan, who plays Sahar Zahid, and were officially released through Netflix Music:
- “Deck the Halls (Queer Intentions)” — Adiescar Chase featuring Leila Khan
- “Only Wanna Be With You (Queer Intentions)” — Adiescar Chase featuring Leila Khan
The second title has caused some confusion. A number of soundtrack guides described it as a cover of Dusty Springfield’s “I Only Want to Be with You.” However, the official Netflix Music release calls it “Only Wanna Be With You,” matching the Hootie & the Blowfish song.
Both performances are available through the official Netflix Music soundtrack playlist.
Adiescar Chase’s original Heartstopper Forever score
The featured pop songs are only one part of the movie’s musical identity. Composer Adiescar Chase returned to write the original score after creating music for all three seasons of the Netflix series.
Netflix Music released Heartstopper Forever (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) on July 17. The 29-track album contains 27 score cues and the two Queer Intentions recordings.
Its instrumental titles include “Charlie’s Speech,” “Old Photos,” “Bad Dream,” “Nick and Charlie,” “Love Is a Choice,” “Like the First Kiss” and “The End.” These shorter pieces provide the familiar emotional and electronic motifs heard around the movie’s larger pop selections.
Is Olivia Rodrigo’s Stupid Song in Heartstopper Forever?
Olivia Rodrigo’s “Stupid Song” plays in the official Heartstopper Forever trailer. Netflix specifically identified it as the song backing the June 2026 preview.
However, it is not included in the verified list of songs reported from the finished film. It should therefore be treated as trailer music rather than part of the movie soundtrack unless Netflix later provides different information.
What is Heartstopper Forever about?
The finale begins after the events of Season 3. Nick, played by Kit Connor, is preparing to leave for university while Charlie, played by Joe Locke, is developing greater confidence and independence at school.
The prospect of living apart forces them to consider whether their teenage relationship can survive major changes. Their friends are also making decisions about education, travel, relationships and life beyond the familiar Truham-Higgs community.
Alice Oseman wrote the film and described it as an exploration of time, memory, love, pain, endings and new beginnings. Connor and Locke also joined the executive-producing team for the finale.
The movie is now available through the official Heartstopper Forever Netflix page.
What comes after the finale movie?
The main screen story concludes with Heartstopper Forever, but Netflix has prepared additional material about the production and its legacy.
Heartstopper Forever: The Official Podcast features conversations with cast members and creators. Netflix will also release the 35-minute behind-the-scenes special Heartstopper: Ending on a Hi on July 24, 2026.
The special includes previously unseen footage, interviews and contributions from viewers who connected with the series.
A musical farewell to Nick and Charlie
The Heartstopper Forever soundtrack does more than assemble popular songs. It connects the movie with the musical language developed across three seasons while allowing the characters’ world to feel older and more expansive.
Returning artists provide familiarity, new selections reflect the uncertainty of moving forward, and Adiescar Chase’s score gives the finale a direct musical link to the beginning of Nick and Charlie’s story.
