Netflix Sets Sail Again With One Piece Season Two Into the Grand Line

Netflix has officially revealed the first teaser for the return of its hit live action adaptation One Piece, confirming that season two will arrive in March 2026 under the title Into the Grand Line.

The announcement comes more than two years after the series made waves in August 2023, debuting at number one globally. Within just four days, the show racked up over 140 million hours watched, followed by an even stronger second week that kept it firmly at the top of Netflix’s English TV rankings.

A Bigger Journey Begins

Season two raises the stakes as Luffy and the Straw Hat crew leave familiar waters behind and venture into the legendary Grand Line. This dangerous stretch of sea is known for unpredictable weather, powerful enemies, and locations that feel pulled straight from myth.

Among the confirmed destinations are Loguetown, the historic city where Pirate King Gold Roger met his end, and Reverse Mountain, a deadly natural phenomenon where rivers flow upward. The crew will also visit Whiskey Peak, a pirate friendly island hiding dangerous secrets, and Little Garden, a prehistoric land frozen in a constant battle between giants.

Drum Island and New Faces

One of the most anticipated locations this season is Drum Island, a snow covered kingdom famous for its medical expertise and harsh climate. Towering mountains surround the island, with Drum Castle looming at the highest peak, creating one of the most visually striking settings yet for the series.

The season will also introduce Tony Tony Chopper, the blue nosed reindeer human hybrid. A previously released teaser already gave fans their first look at the character, who is voiced by Mikaela Hoover.

Faithful to Eiichiro Oda’s Vision

The series remains closely tied to the original manga created by Eiichiro Oda, who continues to oversee the adaptation. The show is written by Steven Maeda, known for his work on Lost and The X Files, helping balance spectacle with character driven storytelling.

While a full trailer is still on the horizon, the newly released teaser offers a glimpse of the grander scale and adventurous tone awaiting fans in the next chapter.

One Piece Into the Grand Line premieres on March 10, 2026, exclusively on Netflix.
